Illegal Internships, Working for Exposure, and other Bullshittery
I’m currently witnessing something I really hoped I’d never see on LinkedIn, but I’d be naive to assume it didn’t happen. Just because I have yet to witness it with my own two eyes, doesn’t mean it’s “fake news”.
In fact, it’s neither fake nor uncommon. It’s a wraith that permeates everything that business is, was, and will ever be. But somehow, I think we’re better than this.
I want to say that we, as a community, know very specifically that pale promises on the business nexus of the internet never go over very well at all.
I want to say that we, as a united group of entrepreneurs, business people, creatives, tech workers, employers, employees, etc, would know arguably the two most important tenements of business as well as we know where our own navels are:
